Hubble Finds a Little Gem This is a planetary nebula called NGC 6818. Some of the most breathtaking views in the Universe are created by nebulae. This little-known galaxy is a classic example of a spiral galaxy. This galaxy has found itself in a lonely position, at the edge of a strangely empty patch of space called the Local Void. This new Hubble image shows a beautiful galaxy located approximately 40 million light-years away in the constellation of Dorado.
Auroras also occur on other planets of Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the solar system. Similar to Earth's aurora, the lights have been seen close to other planets magnetic poles.
NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly captured this photo of an aurora from the International Space Station on June 23, 2015. Lights of an Aurora From the International Space Station
