Physics Trivia : Strength of the force of one Newton

How much strength is the force of 1N?

One Newton is defined to be the amount of force required to give a 1-kg mass an acceleration of 1 m/s/s.
Thus, the following unit equivalency can be stated : 1 Newton = 1 kg • m/s2

But it would be easy to understand that 1N is the strength of the gravity acting on an object of 100 grams (one small size apple).

As for the object of 600 g of mass, the weight on the earth is 6N. When this object is taken to the moon, the mass remains 600 g but the weight becomes 1N because gravity becomes 1/6 of the earth.
