Familiar plant called living fossil?

Coelacanth is famous as a living fossil, but there is a living fossil very close to us.

It is Ginkgo.

 

Ginkgo is a plant that has survived from 250 million years ago without changing its appearance.

                                                              

       

While there are various species in ordinary wood and grass, there is only one species of ginkgo.
