Space Trivia : What causes a spring tide?

What causes a spring tide?

A spring tide occurs when the sun and the moon line up with the earth. That's at a new moon or the full moon.

The gravitational forces of the moon and the sun both contribute to the tides.
For the symmetry of tidal force, the same phenomenon also occurs on the opposite side of the earth.
The difference in the tide levels of the high tide and the ebb comes to be very big and this is a spring tide.
The sun is 27,000,000 times as heavy as the month. But the distance between the sun and the earth is 400 times more than the distance between month and the earth, so tidal force of the sun is half of the moon.
