Plant Trivia : Blood type of plants

Plant also has a blood type.

Blood type of plant is determined by the type of glycoprotein plant has. 

For instance, whiteradish, cabbage and strawberry have type O and rose and plum have type AB. 

In plants, type AB accounts for 80%. Plant with type A and type B is rare. 

As for maple, it turns red when it has type O and it turns yellow when it has type AB.
