Science Trivia : Salt is put on ice.

Why does temperature fall when salt is put on ice?

When ice is put in water, temperature of the water falls.
This is because the ice has behavior of lowering the temperature of the surrounding when it melts.
Because ice also has the behavior of melting slowly, it melts gradually with the such pace as keeping the temperature continues just zero degree.
The salt has the behavior of increasing the speed the ice melts.
When the salt is put in the ice, ice comes to lower the temperature of the surrounding rapidly.
