There is a jellyfish called "the immortal jellyfish".




It is Turritopsis nutricula / dohrnii which is the only animal known to have developed the ability to return to a polyp state.　

 Since it is capable of cycling from a mature adult stage to an immature polyp stage and back again, it is considered there may be no natural limit to its life span.
