Sun Trivia : Huge ‘Eiffel tower’ in the Sun

Huge 'Eiffel tower' in the Sun, about 7 earth diameters high
What is huge ‘Eiffel tower’ in the Sun ?
It's sometimes about several earth diameters high.

It is a Solar flare which is an intense burst of radiation coming from the release of magnetic energy associated with sunspots.
Could Earth be fried by a ‘superflare’ from the sun?

It is a magnetic storm on the Sun which appears to be a very bright spot and a gaseous surface eruption.
However, the actual ejection occurs thousands of miles from the surface of the Sun in the photosphere, corona, and chromosphere.

We also hear another word, "Solar prominence" (also known as a filament) which is an arc of gas that erupts from the surface of the Sun.
The gases are held in place above the Sun's surface by strong magnetic fields. At some point the magnetic band "snaps", spewing the gas and solar material into space
